This new cushion collection was inspired by my 'Seeing within my 5km' series of paintings I created in 2021. I am lucky to live close enough to the farm I grew up on. So during lockdown It was lovely to bring the kids for walks on the land I grew up on. It brought back many very happy childhood memories of life in rural Ireland.

Bringing sheep from one field to another was one of those memories that came flooding back. I clearly remember there would always be that one rogue sheep that would decide to break through the ranks and go in the opposite direction and cause complete mayhem for us. You would see her coming towards you full of attitude. She always stood out, no fear and never apologetic for who she was. So this one is painted from memory and yes of course she is a bit quirky and eccentric but that's why we loved her!

This cushion is made in Ireland on a lush soft velvet fabric using eco-friendly inks. 
Dimensions 50cm. Each cushion has my branded label on the side. Peggy is on one side and the reverse is a plain plum velvet to suit the design.  This one would make a perfect gift for that unique personality who loves to have quirky items in their home!
