Story Behind the Art

"Madra Rua" is one of the irish words for fox in Irish, meaning red dog. The soft, warm glow emitted by these lamps creates an ambiance that brings the tranquillity and wonder of Ireland's culture into your living space.

Materials and Techniques

My artwork is printed onto pure Irish linen and then it is embedded permanently into the wax. Each lamp is individually crafted into shape. Each lamp has an rechargeable LED light which lasts up to 6 hours. So they can be carried anywhere without having to worry about sockets!
