Story Behind the Art
With deliberate steps along a worn path, she carries an empty wicker basket at her side. “An Empty Basket Carries No Weight” becomes more than a title; it echoes a quiet truth. In this serene depiction, the weightlessness of the basket symbolises possibility, anticipation, and the humble beginnings of a day shaped by community and simple needs. The painting invites the viewer to follow her path, to step for a moment into a world where life moves at the pace of one’s footsteps and where even an ordinary walk can feel like a gentle story unfolding.

I am happy to ship my paintings internationally, and I will package all artwork with the utmost care. If you are interested in a particular piece, please contact me and I will give you a quote for the exact shipping cost, depending on the size, the weight and of course the destination of the particular piece.
PRINTS
All prints will be packaged carefully to ensure safe delivery. Prints can be shipped internationally. Shipping charges are based on the size of the print and the destination.
