Abstract oil and cold wax painting of The Hill of Tara.
This landmark is a little more abstract than my usual style. Whenever I visualise this place it’s always from an aerial view. The Hill of Tara is an ancient ceremonial and burial site in Co. Meath. It’s a magical and mysterious place of huge historical interest. It’s probably best known as the inauguration site of the ancient High Kings of Ireland.
It's a pretty special place and close enough for me to visit regularly.
The original is oils and cold wax. I am now offering museum quality fine art prints on cotton rag paper using archival inks too.
