I am lucky to live close enough to the farm I grew up on. So during lockdown It was lovely to bring the kids on picnics on the land I grew up on. It brought back many memories of helping out on the farm as a child from time to time. Bringing sheep from one field to another was one of those memories that came flooding back. I clearly remember there would always be that one rogue sheep that would decide to break through the ranks and go in the opposite direction and cause complete mayhem for us. You would see her coming towards you full of attitude, a rebel without a cause. She was always stood out, no fear and never apologetic for who she was. So this one is painted from memory and yes of course she is a bit quirky and eccentric but that's why we loved her. Meet Peggy. Full of confidence, charisma and style. Acrylic on Canvas. The original is now sold but I do have archival prints for sale that will be posted in a sturdy tube.
